Celebration Time!

We have a lot to celebrate here at Valley Beauty & Skincare. This year marks 6 years in business and 10 YEARS of Esthetics! Becoming an Esthetician was one of the best decisions of my life. And boy has it been an adventure! I've worked at many different kinds of salons, spas and studios. From small businesses to big chains. Lets take a quick look at my career journey!

2011 - Makeup application in a local salon.

2012 - Working at a small esthetics studio in downtown Boise.

2013 - Attending a conference in Las Vegas after winning Esthetician Of The Year (in our region, for our company).

2015 - Finally in 2015 I decided to venture out on my own and joined the team at Paradigm Hair Salon. Shoutout to my long time friend Marbella Haws for believing in me, my talent and pushing me to take the plunge! Paradigm and the girls there will always feel like home. This is also where Cori Simons - Boise Brows and I started working together. As our clientele grew so did our need for more space. Who remembers when Cori and I shared a room?!

2016 - We moved to our current location and Martha Chopko with Radiate Beauty Co. joined us! I love our little salon family!

2016 - Started my permanent makeup apprenticeship with Boise Brows!

Continuing Ed - Throughout the years I've taken countless continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest and greatest in the industry.

2020-2021 - The Covid-19 Pandemic wasn't only a scary time for our health and community but also for the survival of small businesses. After a 9 week closure, we persevered and came back stronger than ever! I am so grateful for everyone who was so understanding and flexible with the protocols and changes we had to put in place. I'm happy to announce that we have lifted the mandatory mask rule and it is now optional. There is nothing I would change about my esthetics journey. The different environments I worked in and knowledge I gained has made Valley Beauty and Skincare what it is today.

Big thank you to all of my amazing clients and friends. Without you guys this job wouldn't be such a dream!
